Forgotten Password confirmation page text change
If a user follows the ‘Forgotten Password’ process they will now see the following text on the confirmation page:
Providing you have a valid account that has been activated, we have sent an email to abc@xyz.com with instructions on how to change your password. This email has been sent from noreply@wolterskluwercloud.com. If you do not receive this, please check your junk mail and/or spam folders.
Because Wolters Kluwer Account is used to enable login to many different Wolters Kluwer cloud applications we cannot display a message specific to CCH OneClick users, but we hope that this change will help users understand why they might not receive an email when attempting to change their password, or remind them to check their junk mail folder.
If a user attempts to log in too many times with an incorrect password their account is automatically locked for 15 minutes. Rather than waiting for the account to be automatically unlocked, if they successfully follow the ‘Forgotten Password’ process this will unlock the account for them.
The password complexity requirement remains the same – being at least 8 characters in length containing at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter as well as one number and one symbol, but we now list the symbols that can be used. See example below:
Please note that the following four characters are not considered to be symbols for password complexity requirements: £, €, ¦ and ¬ .
This will prevent users from overwriting the default of +44 and entering an invalid code such as ‘UK’ which often happens when users use an app or browser extension to auto-complete their details.
All valid international dialling country codes that are supported by Wolters Kluwer Account remain valid. Please see this knowledgebase article for a list of supported countries.
When configuring MFA during account activation, the links to the three iOS authentication apps previously linked to the Spanish Appstore. These now link to the English Appstore for English language users.
